Vanotek, or Ion Chiriniciuc as he is known by his family and friends, was born in the Republic of Moldova and entered the music industry when he was only 17 years of age. In a very short amount of time, the artist began collaborating with already established, household names in the Romanian musical landscape, such as Antonia, Dan Balan and Dj Sava.
After releasing “My Heart is Gone”, an incredible success in the Romanian market and present in top charts for weeks, Vanotek returned with “I’m Coming Home”, a track which conquered the hearts of many Europeans. “My Heart is Gone” was also nominated for “The Best Romanian Act” by the MTV Europe Music Awards.
“Tell Me Who” is Vanotek’s next smashing single, released in 2017, a single which reached #71 in the Shazam Worldwide chart and #1 in Shazam Russia. Moreover, the track was licensed by Ultra Music, one of the most well-known US record labels. Also licensed by Ultra Music is Vanotek’s banging hit “Back to Me”, a track which rose to #5 in the top Shazam Russia.
