Biography

TURF se formó en diciembre de 1995 y en 1997 grabaron su álbum debut, "Una pila de vida", en el cual participó Charly García en el tema "Despiole generacional". En 1998, tocaron como banda soporte de los Rolling Stones en el estadio de River Plate. El segundo disco "Siempre libre" nuevamente contó con la participación de Charly García en el tema "Esa luz". A fines del 2001 editaron "Turfshow", con hits como "Loco Un Poco", "Yo No Me Quiero Casar, Y Ud?" y "Cuatro Personalidades". En el 2004, editan "Para Mi Para Vos" donde demuestran ser una banda con sonido propio. El disco contó con éxitos como "No Se Llama Amor", "Magia Blanca" y "Pasos Al Costado", siendo este uno de los himnos de las hinchadas de fútbol, tanto de Argentina, como de otros países del mundo. Luego de participar en el Quilmes Rock 2007, la banda anunció su separación. En 2015 realizaron un show en La Trastienda presentando su nuevo sencillo,"Kurt Cobain". En 2017 grabaron “Odisea”, álbum que marca el regreso de una de las bandas más populares de Argentina.
En 2020 presentaron su primer disco en vivo, grabado en el Teatro Ópera.
En 2023 editaron Renacimiento, nuevo disco de estudio, el cuál presentaron en el mítico Gran Rex.
Actualmente Turf está presentando “Polvo de Estrellas”, el programa interestelar de entrevistas y shows musicales, conducido por el mismísimo Joaquin Levinton, con invitados de lujo como Milo j, Conociendo Rusia y Lali versionando sus éxitos. Y hay más!
