Biography

Le 14 octobre 1995 Tryo fait son premier concert. La rencontre de Guizmo et Manu Eveno, du groupe M'Panada, avec Christophe Mali, jeune musicien et comédien, est complétée par l’arrivée du percussionniste Daniel Bravo dès 1996. Uni par la musique et les idéaux, le groupe parcourt plus d’un quart de siècle de carrière. De Mamagubida (1998) à leurs deux derniers albums XXV (2020) et Chants de Bataille (septembre 2021), Tryo évolue sur le fil original d’un reggae fervent, frondeur, festif et militant. En 2021, après un long chemin de vingt-six ans à parcourir les routes, les studios et les scènes, le moment arrive pour Emmanuel Eveno, chanteur et guitariste, de quitter l’aventure. Mais ceci pas sans, encore une fois, laisser au groupe sa patte musicale et des souvenirs heureux. Tryo, à trois, à quatre… Tryo à nous tous ! Aujourd’hui comme hier, leurs chansons politiques, harmonieuses et souvent optimistes nous rappellent toujours, qu’au fond, rien n’a vraiment changé: il y a toujours des batailles à mener.
