Biography

Formed in 2002 in Nova Iguaçu, RJ, the group initially known as Toque no Altar released their first live CD in 2003, followed by another in the same year, both achieving over 1 million copies sold. Their popular tracks included "Deus de Promessas," "Toda Sorte de Bençãos," and "Restitui."

In 2007, the group transitioned to the name Trazendo a Arca while maintaining the original lineup. Their debut CD, "Marca da Promessa (Ao Vivo)," sold over 150,000 copies in just 2 months. Trazendo a Arca gained international recognition with albums recorded in Japan and the USA. As they approach their 20th anniversary in 2023, the band is set to release new singles and re-recordings, with the first single "Serás Sempre Deus" already out.
