Biography

Italian pop singer and songwriter Tiziano Ferro began his music journey at a young age, attending a local conservatory and later joining a gospel chorus at 16, where he discovered his passion for Afro-American music. In 2001, EMI Italy released his debut album, "Rosso Relativo," which included the hit single "Xdono," followed by his 2003 breakthrough album, "111," selling over a million copies and propelling him to stardom. Ferro's versatility was showcased as he recorded in multiple languages, such as Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and English.

Throughout his career, Ferro continued to dominate the charts with successful studio albums like "Nessuno è Solo" (2006), "Alla Mia Età" (2008), "L'Amore È Una Cosa Semplice" (2011), and "Il Mestiere Della Vita" (2015), all reaching #1 on the album chart. In 2010, he publicly came out as gay in an interview with Vanity Fair. His hits compilation, "TZN: The Best of Tiziano Ferro," released in late 2014, topped the charts for several weeks and remained popular throughout 2016, supported by new singles and a stadium tour. Ferro's success extended beyond his own recordings, as he also made a mark as a songwriter for artists like Andrea Bocelli, Ed Sheeran, and Blue, and collaborated with various international acts. His upcoming album, "Il mondo è nostro," is set to be released on November 11, 2022.
