Tierra Cali

Tierra Cali, a regional Mexican group hailing from Michoacan, is a family act consisting of five brothers: Humberto, Rafael, Cruz, Arcadio, and Efrain Plancarte. Originating in Uruapan, the band gained popularity in the region with early recordings under Discos Ciudad, such as "No Pares," "La Milpa," "El Arroyito," and "El Pescado Nadador." Their international debut followed the release of Alegria Calentana, leading to subsequent label switches to Lideres and Universal Latino's Vene Music. The band achieved chart success with their 2007 release Enamorado de Ti, reaching number 15 on Billboard's regional Mexican category.

From 2008 to 2016, Tierra Cali continued to make waves in the music scene with multiple chart-topping albums like Mas Alla de la Distancia, Un Siglo de Amor, and Entregate. Their singles received significant airplay across various countries, and their videos garnered millions of views. The band's consistent success was highlighted by platinum certifications for albums like Entregate and reissues of previous works like Mas Alla de la Distancia and Si Tu Te Vas. Their 2015 album, #Hashtag y Lo Mas Trending, peaked at number six on the Mexican Regional Albums list, further solidifying their enduring popularity in the industry.
