Biography
Rishabh Kant, with the stage name of ‘The Rish’, is a Hindi pop artist with the aim to bridge the gap between the rooted Indian melodies and the new-age sonic.
Starting off his journey releasing music in 2021 featuring on QARAN’s Hope You Don't Mind (feat. The Rish), The Rish recently had his Bollywood debut made to life by the same artist - a pioneer of modern-age Pop/Dance Music & long time mentor - QARAN, featuring on the songs Haanji & Desi Wine for the film ‘Thank You For Coming’. He also sang for the Bollywood duo Sachin-Jigar, on the song ‘Ro Lehn De’ ft The Rish, for the web series ‘Jee Karda’, while simultaneously releasing solo music, forming a distinct sonic style of his own.
Having a classically trained background and playing in an English alt/rock band in his early days, helped shape up the influences of his two worlds.
