Biography
The Lagoons are the musical project of brothers Ryan and Joey Selan. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, the duo first gained recognition for their dreamy, atmospheric sound characterized by smooth vocals, intricate melodies, and lush production after releasing their debut Gems EP in 2016 which helped them establish a growing fanbase. Since then, the brothers have expanded their discography, releasing three studio albums, three EPs, and two live albums further solidifying their reputation as one of music’s most promising acts. Their Southern California roots continue to shine through their unique blend of indie pop, surf rock, R&B, and electronic music creating a unique sonic landscape that draws listeners in with its laid-back vibes and introspective lyrics.
