Danny Harley aka The Kite String Tangle is a prolific producer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and label owner hailing from Brisbane, Australia. With multiple Gold certified releases and awards under his belt, he's back with brand new album, ‘Lustre’ (2023).
‘Lustre’ includes singles 'Good Catch’, ‘Miles Away’ and ‘A New Day’ – the first new music in 3 years encapsulating the Album’s uplifting vocals and pulsating electronic production. ‘Lustre’ leans into melodic techno & house influences, and taps into themes of positivity and finding liberation in change.

His 2nd critically acclaimed studio album 'C()D3X' (March 2020) featured singles ‘P()L4R’, ‘KILLING TIME (feat. Eliott’) and 'NORTH'. ‘C()D3X’ explores his eclectic electronic influences in a move that was warmly embraced by fans, triple j and international tastemakers.

Harley originally broke out with adored singles ‘Arcadia’ and ‘Given The Chance’ taken from his debut EP ‘Vessel’. His debut self titled album (2017), features singles ‘Selfish’, ‘The Prize’ (feat. Bridgette Amofah of Rudimental) and ‘This Thing We Got’ which gained international attention and earned an ARIA award nomination.

The Kite String Tangle has a reputation as a world-class live act, having sold out headline shows across the UK, US and Australia with festival performances including SXSW, Splendour In the Grass, Primavera Sound, Great Escape, Groovin The Moo and made a guest appearance at Coachella (with Adventure Club).
