Biography

Teddy Riley, known as the "King of New Jack Swing," has a prolific career producing platinum hits for artists such as Guy, the Winans, Joe, Johnny Kemp, Blackstreet, Keith Sweat, Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Hi-Five, and Al B. Sure. Born in Harlem, Riley honed his musical talents from a young age, mastering multiple instruments and gaining experience playing in bands around New York. His collaboration with Gene Griffin in the '80s led to success with Guy and other artists, propelling Riley to the forefront of the music industry.

In the early '90s, Guy disbanded and Riley formed Blackstreet, achieving platinum success with their self-titled debut album and the hit single "No Diggity." Riley's move to Virginia saw the establishment of his state-of-the-art recording studios, reflecting his ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in music production.
