Biography

Hey, Tebey here…my name is of Nigerian heritage and is pronounced TAY-bay if you are wondering :) I’m a singer, producer and songwriter…originally, from Peterborough, Ontario but I now live in Nashville. I sing mostly country music but I’m also part of the pop duo RadioClub with my pal Shawn Desman so check us out! I write both country and pop songs. I’ve written a couple hit songs like Justin Moore’s “SOMEBODY ELSE WILL,” which was #1 on US Billboard chart and Gord Bamford’s “DIVE BAR” which went #1 in Canada! I’ve also written for some artists like One Direction, Fifth Harmony, Pixie Lott (also a #1), Cher, Smash Mouth and Flo Rida. On the country side of things - Big and Rich, Emerson Drive, Jimmy Rankin and recently Joe Nichols cut one of my songs with Blake Shelton :)


Some of my own biggest hits are “WHO’S GONNA LOVE YOU”, “DENIM ON DENIM”, “GOOD JEANS”, “THE GOOD ONES” and “HAPPENED ON A SATURDAY NIGHT” and most recently my country cover of The Weeknd's "BLINDING LIGHTS" and my new duet with Tenille Arts called "Hangover At My Place". When I’m not writing or recording music, I’m usually out travelling with my family, exploring all parts of the world and tasting all kinds of food. I also love to golf and host a fundraiser for Youth Emergency Shelter every summer in my hometown. Thanks for reading (and listening!)
