Biography

SWIRLIES, originally a Go-Go's cover band named Raspberry Bang, formed in Cambridge, MA in 1990 with members Damon Tutunjian, Seana Carmody, Andy Bernick, and Ben Drucker. The band played their first live show at The Alcove in Allston, MA on 25 January 1991, and went on to release music on various labels, eventually signing with Taang! Records in June 1992. Their discography includes releases like 'Blondertongue Audiobaton' and 'They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days In The Glittering World Of The Salons', with a shifting lineup over the years.

In recent decades, SWIRLIES has seen various lineup changes but has continued to release music and tour sporadically since 2009.
