Sushin Shyam

Sushin Shyam, the Indian film composer, was born on February 13, 1992, in Thalassery, India. Mentored by Deepak Dev, he began his career composing background music for numerous films before his first full score credit in 2014's Sapthamashree Thaskaraha. By 2017, he was composing music for multiple films annually and also occasionally lending his vocals to these projects. Shyam gained industry recognition for his work on the soundtrack of 2019's Kumbalangi Nights, which earned him several awards, including Best Original Song and Best Background Score. His song "Theerame" from the 2021 film Malik also achieved chart success. Apart from his film work, Shyam is the keyboard player for The Down Troddence, an Indian band blending traditional folk styles with heavy metal.
