Subcarpaţi

Subcarpați, a fusion of Romanian traditional music, hip-hop, and electro, was conceived by MC Bean of the band Șuie Paparude in 2010 to revitalize Romanian folklore for a contemporary audience. Their music proudly reflects Romania's values and traditions, evoking a sense of longing for ancestral rural life through melancholic oboe melodies, appealing to modern urbanites seeking a connection to their roots.

The upcoming album "Folcloru-i oxigen pentru un popor astmatic" will be unveiled during a national tour titled H2Oxigen in May-June 2022, in collaboration with the Ivan Patzaichin - Mila 23 Association, aiming to rejuvenate interest in Romanian cultural heritage.
