Biography

Streetlight Manifesto, a ska-punk band from New Jersey formed in the late '90s, emerged from the merging of One Cool Guy and Catch-22. Led by vocalist Tomas Kalnoky, the band debuted in 2003 with Everything Goes Numb, showcasing a lively mix of third wave ska and punk melodies. Despite setbacks like equipment theft and personnel changes, Streetlight Manifesto continued to tour extensively, performing with acts such as Whole Wheat Bread, Mu330, and Gym Class Heroes.

In 2006, Streetlight Manifesto released Keasbey Nights, a re-recorded version of Catch-22's 1998 album, followed by the full-length album Somewhere in the Between in 2007. The band maintained a busy touring schedule, opening for Reel Big Fish and MxPx, and released 99 Songs of Revolution, Vol. 1 in 2010, featuring ska versions of contemporary pop covers. Their fifth record, The Hands That Thieve, was released in 2013, marking their final album with Victory Records.
