Biography

Formed in the mid-2010s, Atlanta-based dreamlike R&B duo St. Beauty consists of lead vocalist Alex Belle and vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Isis Valentino. Valentino, who previously worked as a dancer and background singer for Janelle Monae, gained recognition through their inclusion in the artist collective Wondaland Arts Society. After making their debut with "Going Nowhere" on the Wondaland Arts Society-affiliated compilation in 2015, St. Beauty released singles like "Borders," "Holographic Lover," and "Caught" as they worked towards their debut full-length album, Running to the Sun, which was released in early 2018.
