South Korean boy band SS501, comprised of Kim Hyun-joong, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min, and Kim Hyung-jun, made their debut in 2005 with the EP Warning, featuring the hit song "Never Again". They expanded to the Japanese market in 2007 with the release of the maxi single Kokoro, achieving success on the Oricon chart and winning Best New Artist at the Japan Gold Disc Awards in 2008. Despite their hiatus since 2010, the sub-group Double S 301, consisting of Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, and Kim Hyung-jun, has continued to release music.
