Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Lucci made his mark in the music scene with singles like "RIP Tupac" and collaborations with artists such as Akon. Despite a brief hiatus during his reality TV stint, Lucci continued to release successful singles like "Cash Money" in 2018 and dropped his mixtape The Recipe in 2019, showcasing his signature woozy and hypnotic style.

Solo Lucci's career took off in 2012 when he moved to Atlanta and released "RIP Tupac," followed by his mixtape Fuck Your Favorite Rapper in 2013.
