Slutever

Based in Los Angeles, punk rock band Slutever comprises Nicole Snyder and Rachel Gagliardi, both originally from Philadelphia. Meeting in high school within the same music program, they began performing together in college. The duo self-released their EP Almost Famous on February 17, 2015, consisting of six songs recorded in June 2013 during a tour on the East Coast with Girlpool.

Receiving critical acclaim, Almost Famous by Slutever was praised for its polished yet goofy stoner ethos. Despite being labeled as riot grrrl, the band's music was described as gritty punk with a unique twist, distancing themselves from heavy issues. Critics appreciated their authentic and accomplished sound, with Robert Christgau commending their deliberate approach to not force a monumental impact in their music.
