Sleep, the iconic stoner rock band from Northern California, crafted some of the heaviest doom metal albums in the '90s. Initially drawing comparisons to bands like Black Sabbath and Saint Vitus, Sleep's unique sound solidified with their acclaimed release, "Sleep's Holy Mountain."
