シャ乱Q

Formed in 1988, Sharam Q is a Japanese pop-rock band renowned for their fusion of rock, J-pop, and funk elements. The original lineup comprised Tsunku (vocals), Hatake (guitar), Makoto (drums), and Shu (bass). Rising to fame in the early 1990s, the band's sound combined Tsunku's dynamic vocals with Hatake's distinctive guitar style, blending rock vigor with a pop flair that garnered widespread appeal. Notable hits like "Single Bed," "Zurui Onna," and "My Babe Kimi ga Nemuru Made" propelled Sharam Q to mainstream success in the mid-1990s, establishing them as a prominent presence in the Japanese music landscape. Addressing themes of love and relationships, their music resonated with audiences nationwide. After a hiatus in 2000, the band regrouped in 2006, releasing the single "Aruiteru." However, their musical activities were halted in 2015 due to Tsunku's laryngeal cancer diagnosis, which led to the removal of his vocal cords.
