Carolina Blue (acoustic) by the acoustic duo Clee Laster and Chris Sheridan is set to release this Friday. In 2002, the duo began their music career in Charlotte, NC, playing open mics and acoustic shows. They later formed Simplified in 2004, expanding into a full band with a signature sound that blends soulful vocals, percussive acoustic strumming, and melody-focused lead guitar lines. Over the years, the band evolved, experimenting with new players and releasing several albums, including "Smile" (2006), "Elephant Sky" (2008), "Brighter Days" (2011), "Wake 'n Bake Nation" (2014), and "Island Time" (2016). Today, the band features a lineup that includes Drew Cyphers on keyboards, Justin Powell on bass, Marcus Harmon on saxophone and guitar, and Adam Mann on drums.
