For three decades, Simon Posford has been a pioneering force in electronic music, shaping the genre with his innovative sound. Starting in the early 90s at Butterfly Studios in London, Posford honed his craft, eventually becoming renowned for his high-quality production in experimental electronic dance music through his solo project Hallucinogen. Collaborating with Raja Ram as Shpongle in 1996, they released a groundbreaking debut album in 1998, expanding the boundaries of musical storytelling with six successful albums and sold-out shows worldwide, including 2019's Red Rocks event that sold 20,000 tickets in just 8 minutes. Posford's diverse collaborations, such as with Younger Brother alongside Benji Vaughan, showcase his versatility and continued commitment to musical innovation.

During quarantine in 2020, Posford unveiled 'Flux and Contemplation: Portrait of an Artist in Isolation,' his first solo album in over two decades, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to pushing musical boundaries.
