Biography

For over four decades, the North American RnB group Silk has been making music. They gained fame with their hit singles "Freak Me" and "Happy Days" from their debut album, Lose Control. In 2002, Silk departed from Elektra and went on a hiatus. During this break, group member Jenkins explored other interests and made his stage debut as 'AJ' in Tyler Perry's play, Madea's Family Reunion. He returned to the music scene in 2007 with his solo debut, The Other Side.
