Biography

SHISHAMO is a three-piece rock band consisting of Asako Miyazaki (Guitar/Vocals), Aya Matsuoka (Bass), and Misae Yoshikawa (Drums). They started their band activities in spring 2013 immediately after graduating high school. Within just two years of their CD debut, they sold out their first solo concert at Nippon Budokan in January 2016, and made their debut appearance on the 68th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen in 2017. Since then, they have released multiple albums and singles, culminating in their 10th anniversary celebrations with the release of a double concept album in February 2023.

In celebration of their 10th anniversary year, SHISHAMO has been actively touring and releasing new music, including the album "Koi o shitte iru subete no anata e" in February 2023. Their schedule has been packed with events such as free live shows, arena concerts, and hall tours held across Japan. The band is set to conclude their 10th anniversary year with a two-day arena live event at Yokohama Pia Arena MM on November 11th and 12th, 2023.
