Sharif, a singer/songwriter from Norfolk, VA, blends folk and experimental rock influences to create a dreamy acoustic sound reminiscent of artists like Evan Dando and Liz Phair. Inspired by the rawness of indie rock, Sharif honed his musical skills while attending the University of Virginia in the late '90s, playing shows in D.C. and Virginia as well as in Europe.
