Sevcan Orhan

Born in Istanbul in 1982, Orhan's family roots trace back to the village of Yeşilyaka (Şebge) in the Çayırlı district of Erzincan.

In 1994, Orhan took his first step into the world of music by learning to play the kara düzen bağlama from his father. Seeking professional training that same year, he enrolled in a private music school where he studied notation, solfege, bağlama, and repertoire. Completing his secondary and high school education alongside, Orhan went on to secure a place in the "Vocal Education Department" at the Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory through talent exams in 1999. He released his 5th album, "içimden geldi söyledim," under Özdemir Plak in 2019.
