Seksendört

Formed in Ankara in 1999, Seksendört solidified their original lineup in 2002 and have since maintained a busy performance schedule across Turkey and Europe. Influenced by 90s Seattle music, the band began crafting their own compositions alongside unique interpretations of well-known songs, quickly establishing themselves as a popular live act. Notably, they opened for the legendary Cem Karaca without ever performing in a bar setting, accumulating over 500 live shows. Their 2004 track "Ölürüm Hasretinle" became a nationwide phenomenon, topping charts for an extended period. Seksendört's subsequent hits, including "Hayır Olamaz," "Söyle," and "Kendime Yalan Söyledim," earned them numerous national awards, recognizing their success as Best Emerging Group, Best Song, Best Cover, and Turkey's Best Group.

Renowned for captivating young audiences and blending traditional and modern elements in their music, Seksendört actively shares their expertise with emerging artists. With a reputation for high-energy performances and a string of hits, the band is a sought-after headliner at festivals, often opting for open-air venues and sports arenas to accommodate their large following.
