Scars on 45, a British alt-rock band formed in Bradford, Yorkshire, in 2007, blend the big guitar rock of Oasis with the melodic, country-influenced sound of Fleetwood Mac. Starting as a duo with singer/songwriter Danny Bemrose and bassist Stuart Nichols, the band expanded to include keyboardist David Nowakowski, vocalist Aimee Driver, and drummer Chris Durling. They gained wider recognition after their song "Beauty's Running Wild" was featured on an episode of CSI: New York in 2009. Signed to the Chop Shop label, they released two EPs in 2011, followed by their self-titled debut album in 2012, which included the single "Heart on Fire." Their second album, "Safety in Numbers," arrived in 2014, featuring the single "Crazy for You."
