Starting his career in the late '80s at Shelly's club, Sasha gained recognition for his eclectic sets before achieving widespread acclaim at venues like the Haçienda and Renaissance. Teaming up with fellow DJ John Digweed, Sasha released successful mix albums and toured internationally, showcasing their remixing prowess.
Beyond DJing, Sasha found success in collaborations and remixes with artists like the Pet Shop Boys and Simply Red. He established his record label, Excession Recordings, and released original music on labels like Deconstruction. Sasha's diverse output includes mix albums in the Global Underground series, acclaimed productions like the Xpander EP, and Grammy-nominated remixes.
