Biography

Formed in California, Saosin emerged as a key player in the post-hardcore scene, utilizing social media early on to promote their music. Their debut EP, Translating the Name, introduced the band's distinctive screamo sound in March 2003, featuring vocalist Anthony Green and a lineup that would later evolve. Despite lineup changes and Green's departure, Saosin continued to tour and release music, eventually signing with Capitol Records in 2005 and releasing their self-titled EP. The band's eponymous full-length debut arrived in 2006, followed by extensive touring and further album releases.

After a period of transition and lineup changes, Saosin made a strong comeback in 2016 with original singer Anthony Green rejoining the band. Signing with Epitaph Records, they released their album Along the Shadow in May 2016, marking a new chapter in their music career. Saosin's enduring presence in the post-hardcore genre reflects their resilience and commitment to creating dynamic music that resonates with fans.
