Russell Zuma

Russell Zuma, a South African singer and songwriter from Durban, KZN, launched his music career as a backup singer for Lucky Mngadi before honing his skills at Bet Centre. He later became the lead vocalist for the school band, performing at various venues. Introduced to house music by his friend DJ Museri, Zuma collaborated on the track "iinkomo," which led to opportunities with DJ Bongz and collaborations with artists like DJ Kabila and Gaba Cannal.

Zuma's musical journey continued with the formation of the band "Groove Jam" alongside Gugulethu Ngxabi and Mapheelle Mongali. Working with industry talents like Spin Worx, Brewed Souls, and George Lesley, Zuma made waves with singles like "Ishumi Leminyaka" and featured on hits such as "Healer Ntliziyo Yami" by Gaba Cannal and "Emaxhoseni" by DJ Stax. Currently collaborating with Abidoza and Kabza De Small, Zuma is set to make further strides in the music scene.
