Since her debut album Seasons Of My Soul peaked at No. 3 on the UK Albums Charts in 2010, achieving Platinum sales status and earning her a MOJO Award for Best Breakthrough Act along with two BRIT Award nominations, British singer-songwriter Rumer has established herself as a renowned songwriter with global hits like “Slow” and “Aretha.” She has also showcased her talent as an interpreter with albums like Boys Don’t Cry, Rumer Sings Bacharach at Christmas, and This Girl's in Love: A Bacharach and David Songbook, featuring classic covers from the 1970s.

Rumer's latest project sees her collaborating with Redtenbacher’s Funkestra for a soulful in-session studio album. Following her vocal contributions to their Joni Mitchell tribute project, Rumer invited the instrumental group to join her for a special performance at the Indigo at the 02 in December 2023. The synergy during rehearsals led to the creation of an "In Session" record, blending Rumer’s beloved tracks with a fresh, soulful sound.
