Roscoe Dash, blending Atlanta party rap with an indie flair, burst onto the scene in 2009 with the hit "All the Way Turnt Up!" Originally known as ATL, he joined forces with the local hip-hop group Travis Porter, but a dispute over the song's credits led him to rebrand as Roscoe Dash. After re-recording the track with Soulja Boy Tell Em, he signed with Interscope and released his debut album Ready Set Go! in 2010, followed by his sophomore effort J.U.I.C.E. in 2011.
