After being inspired by Lucio Battisti's "Best of" album, Riccardo Marcuzzo, known as Riki, began writing his own songs rich in imagery, wordplay, and rhetorical figures. His debut single, "Sei mia," quickly rose to the top spot, paving the way for a string of hits that eventually led to his victory in his category on "Amici." Tracks like “Perdo le parole” and the summer hit “Polaroid” garnered widespread popularity, making Riki the best-selling artist in Italy in 2017 with his album achieving triple platinum status and 11 consecutive weeks at number one on the FIMI/GfK chart.

In 2018, Riki's second album “Mania” sold out a tour with over 100,000 tickets sold, including a packed show at the Forum of Assago. The album went double platinum, with the single “Lo sappiamo entrambi” achieving platinum status. International collaborations with CNCO and Reik in 2019 saw Riki perform in front of crowds of over 40,000 in Argentina and Mexico. His 2020 release, “POPCLUB,” showcased a more experimental side with introspective tracks like “Margot.” After a hiatus, Riki returned with “CASABASE,” featuring the lead single “Quanto sei bella,” marking the beginning of a new chapter characterized by maturity and self-awareness.
