After being inspired by Lucio Battisti's "Best of" album, Riccardo Marcuzzo, known as Riki, began writing his own songs rich in imagery, wordplay, and rhetorical figures. His debut single, "Sei mia," quickly rose to the top spot, paving the way for a string of hits that eventually led to his victory in his category on "Amici." Tracks like “Perdo le parole” and the summer hit “Polaroid” garnered widespread popularity, making Riki the best-selling artist in Italy in 2017 with his album achieving triple platinum status and 11 consecutive weeks at number one on the FIMI/GfK chart.
