Ricky Dillard

Ricky Dillard is a celebrated gospel artist and Grammy nominee hailing from Chicago, known for his unique blend of R&B, funk, jazz, and Black Gospel influences. Emerging from the house music scene in the 1980s, Dillard's New Generation Chorale (now NG) has consistently topped the U.S. Gospel charts with albums like 2014's Amazing and 2017's 10. His music tours frequently sell out and his influence in the gospel world has continued to grow into the 21st century.

Born and raised in Chicago, Dillard's passion for gospel music was ignited at a young age, leading him to direct church choirs and draw inspiration from gospel greats like James Cleveland and Aretha Franklin. While initially delving into secular music, Dillard's heart remained in gospel, eventually leading to his successful solo career merging gospel with dance music. Signing with Motown Gospel in 2019, Dillard's album Choirmaster marked a new chapter in his career, showcasing his dance music roots in the Chicago House Remixes release.
