Biography
Chicago-based musician, composer, and producer Will Miller, known for his work with Chance The Rapper and Whitney, released Resavoir's self-titled debut album in 2019 to critical acclaim. The album was praised by Pitchfork as "complex and soulful," and received high accolades from VICE, Noisey, NPR Music, and more. In November 2023, Resavoir released their second album on International Anthem, followed by a series of remixes and singles in 2024, leading up to their first European tour and the debut of Orchestra Resavoir in Chicago's Thalia Hall.
Trained as a composer and trumpeter in Chicago Public Schools and Oberlin Conservatory, Miller has also built a strong production resume working with artists like SZA and Knox Fortune. Resavoir's music has gained recognition for its lush sound and celebration of interconnectedness, leading to performances at prestigious venues like Londons Church of Sound and Brooklyns Pioneer Works. The band's evolution culminated in Orchestra Resavoir's debut at a sold-out show in December, marking a successful year of growth and innovation for the ensemble.
