Ray Sepúlveda

Ray Sepúlveda, a salsa singer born into a Puerto Rican family in New York, drew inspiration from Latin artists and his father, a bolero singer, from a young age. Starting off in bands like La Justicia and La Dictadura, Sepúlveda made a name for himself in the New York scene in the mid-'70s with La Sociedad and later with Adalberto Santiago in 1983. His breakthrough came with the Salsa Con Clase album, featuring the hit singles "Mascarada" and "Bandolera," which solidified his career and topped the Latin charts.

Ray Sepúlveda's musical journey began with a deep-rooted passion for Latin music, nurtured by his upbringing and early exposure to tropical performers.
