Biography
Ratking, a bold hip-hop collective from New York, emerged in 2012 with members Patrick "Wiki" Morales, MC Hak, and Sporting Life. Their gritty, experimental tracks, initially shared online from Sporting Life's apartment in Harlem, garnered a devoted following for their unconventional rhymes and compressed productions. After building a reputation for their intense live performances in New York City, Ratking signed with XL Records' Hot Charity imprint and released their debut EP, Wiki93, in 2012, followed by their debut album, So It Goes, in 2014 featuring collaborations with King Krule and others. In 2015, their second album, 700 Fill, was released with guest appearances from Despot, Remy Banks, and Princess Nokia, distributed for free via BitTorrent. Following Hak's departure in 2016, the group continued as a duo.
