Randy Ariel Ortiz Acevedo, born on July 16, 1983, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and music icon. Starting his musical career in 2001 as a backing vocalist in a church in San Juan, he developed a melodic and slow singing style influenced by artists such as The Jackson 5 and Lionel Richie, leading to his unique R&B sound. After forming the duo Jowell & Randy, he became a prominent figure in urban music, known as one of the best reggaeton duos in history, still producing hits and selling out arenas two decades later.

In 2015, Randy released his debut solo album "Roses&Wines," featuring collaborations with artists like Arcangel, De La Ghetto, Álvaro Diaz, Vinny Rivera, and Ken-Y, showcasing his versatility.
