Biography

Raleigh Ritchie, the musical moniker of actor Jacob Anderson, emerged in the 2010s with a blend of R&B, hip-hop, and electronic influences. His 2016 debut album, You're a Man Now, Boy, garnered chart success, leading to the release of his follow-up, Andy, in the following decade. Ritchie's music career took off after his track "I Need Love" with Plan B on the Adulthood soundtrack in 2008, leading to a record deal with Columbia and the release of his first EP, The Middle Child, in 2013. Drawing inspiration from artists like Erykah Badu and David Bowie, Ritchie's unique sound found success with singles like "Stronger Than Ever" and "Time in a Tree," culminating in the 2020 release of his sophomore album, Andy.
