Acoustic rock quartet Racoon, originating in Zeeland in 1997 as a duo before expanding to a quartet in Utrecht in 1998, gained prominence with their 2005 hit "Love You More," which remains one of the biggest hits in Dutch chart history. Their debut album, Till Monkeys Fly, was released in 2000, followed by the successful Here We Go, Stereo! in 2001. Racoon's third album, Another Day, released in 2005, propelled them to superstardom with hits like "Love You More" and "Brother," reaching number two on the Dutch charts.
Continuing their success, Racoon released albums like Before You Leave in 2008, featuring hits such as "Lucky All My Life," and Liverpool Rain in 2011, which became their first number one album in the Netherlands. Their consistent chart-topping streak continued with The Singles Collection in 2013 and their sixth studio album, All in Good Time, in 2015.
