Biography

Jean Osbourne, born on 31 August 1981 in Trinidad, West Indies, began her music career performing calypso and providing backing vocals for soca stars before making her solo debut with a dancehall soca fusion track called 'Fire'. Embracing the music of Jamaica, Queen Omega collaborated with Jamaican artists like Anthony B., Bushman, and Determine, leading to successful ragga recording sessions with Doctor Marshall and hits like 'Warning' and 'Highest High'. Her Rastafarian ideals were reflected in her chosen pseudonym, Queen Omega, symbolizing the Ethiopian woman believed to be the queen of the world.

In the new millennium, Queen Omega expanded her musical horizons by collaborating with Tony Rebel in Jamaica, resulting in the production of 'Love Yah'. She furthered her career by working with producer Trevor 'Juggling' T., releasing her self-titled debut album featuring contributions from the Ruff Cut Band, Anthony B., and Archie Wonder.
