PVRIS, led by singer/songwriter Lyndsey Gunnulfsen, transitioned from post-hardcore roots to a pop-savvy international sensation over the span of a decade. Their evolution from the atmospheric electronic textures of their debut album, "White Noise," to the urgent, melodic synth rock of "Use Me," showcased Gunnulfsen's songwriting and production prowess. The band's fourth LP, "Evergreen," released in 2023, continued to highlight themes of empowerment and solidified their alt-rock hybrid sound.

Formed in Lowell, Massachusetts in 2012, PVRIS initially drew influences from metalcore before finding their signature sound under Gunnulfsen's leadership.
