Biography

As a rapper/producer, he released his first album "David" with his group PSG in 2009. He has worked on various projects including Redbull TV commercials, the opening theme for TBS show "Downtown," and an official remix for Hikaru Utada's "Hikari -Ray of Hope MIX-" used as the global theme song for the video game "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8." In 2017, he performed at Fuji Rock Festival as a solo artist and released solo works like "Movie On The Sunday Anthology" in 2012 and the 1st album "MODERN TIMES" in 2017. He has also received awards such as the SPACE SHOWER MUSIC AWARD for "BEST HIPHOP ARTIST" in March 2018.

In July 2020, he released his new album "The Sofakingdom," his first since his debut album. He has collaborated on the soundtrack for the anime series "Odd Taxi," which won the "O.S.T Award" at Anime Awards Brasil 2022. His recent works include the song "Pale Rain" with imase, PUNPEE, and Toby Fox used in a Pocari Sweat commercial, and the single "Step Into The Arena" for the digital version of the trading card game "Magic: The Gathering Arena." He also embarked on the national tour "The Sofakingdom Tour," which was later renamed "The Sofaking... Damn!!! Tour" due to postponements. Additionally, in December, he released "Return of The Sofakingdom," a companion piece to "The Sofakingdom." In March 2023, he unveiled the track "Time Machine Ride/Family Scenery" for the Sotetsu Tokyu Through Service Commemorative Movie "Scenes of Father and Daughter," created to symbolize the connection between Sotetsu Line and Tokyu Line.
