Pop-rock trio PUBLIC, hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, gained global recognition with their single “Make You Mine,” which went viral on TikTok in 2019. The song, self-released in 2015, led them to sign with Island Records after attracting over 2.5 million TikTok videos. They have since released a new version of the track, reaching over 260 million streams. Additionally, they dropped their new single “Honey In The Summer” on May 8th, showcasing their breezy, feel-good sound produced by John Fields.
Formed by John Vaughn, Matthew Carter Alvarado, and Ben Lapps, PUBLIC's diverse musical influences from disco to punk brought them together during their time in high school jazz orchestra. Their success in their hometown led them to open for Twenty One Pilots and embark on their first U.S. tour with Walk the Moon.
