Player, the band best known for their 1977 hit "Baby Come Back," was formed in Los Angeles by Peter Beckett, Ronn Moss, J.C. Crowley, and John Friesen. Their debut album, "Player," and its follow-up, "Danger Zone," were released in 1978. After lineup changes and solo endeavors, Beckett revived Player for the albums "Room with a View" in 1980 and "Spies of Life" in 1982. The band reunited in 1995 and continued to release new music and tour throughout the 2000s, culminating in the 2013 album "Too Many Reasons."
