Platero y Tú, a Spanish rock & roll and blues band, gained prominence in Bilbao's music scene with their debut album Voy A Acabar Borracho. Signing with local label DRO, they released a series of successful albums including Burrock'n'roll, Muy Deficiente, and Vamos Tirando. Their breakthrough came in 1994 with the gold record Hay Poco Rock'n'Roll, leading to extensive touring and the release of a live album and video, A Pelo, in collaboration with Extremoduro. The band continued to evolve their sound with releases like 7 and Correos in the late 1990s, showcasing their growing popularity and musical refinement.
