Biography

British artist Plan B, born Ben Drew, gained recognition in 2005 with the track "Cap Back" on the Run the Road compilation. Following a series of singles, he released his debut album, Who Needs Actions When You Got Words, showcasing his eclectic style blending various genres. In 2010, his breakthrough came with The Defamation of Strickland Banks, blending rock, soul, and Motown influences, earning him multiple awards and widespread acclaim in the U.K.

In 2012, Plan B released Ill Manors, a film and album exploring themes of disaffected youth and the London riots. This project delayed his planned album, The Ballad of Belmarsh. After a hiatus, he returned in 2017 with the single "In the Name of Man," leading to the release of his fourth studio album, Heaven Before Hell Breaks Loose, in 2018, featuring several successful singles.
