Pelican, a Chicago-based instrumental post-metal band, delves into heavy noise, crafting crushing yet ethereal compositions. Since their formation in 2001, they have explored stoner rock, doom, and post-metal on albums like Australasia (2003), City of Echoes (2007), Forever Becoming (2013), and Nighttime Stories (2019).
